This project, developed as a contribution to design education, offers a blueprint for conducting systemic design research. The framework is grounded in the foundational scholarship of leading figures in design and systems thinking. My primary contribution was a historical analysis that categorizes and synthesizes these perspectives, thereby clarifying the intellectual lineage of core arguments, their historical emergence, and their influence on contemporary systemic design discourse.

This is an innovative educational framework that helps systemic design (SD) students map the relationships between four distinct levels of design innovation—from objects to complex public and social systems. It was initially created for teaching, specifically to help students visualize intervention maps. The model's development was influenced by existing frameworks (such as micro, meso, and macro levels) and has proven effective as a foundational tool in workshops.

This project answered the question: How can a traditional ritual be redesigned to enhance community engagement? Using the Iranian practice of "Nazri"—a social custom of communal care and food sharing—as a case study, I developed a new service system. The resulting framework, created for an online course in culture-sensitive design, proposes a way to strengthen the community-building aspects of the ritual.

The "DDC Protocol" was a part of my PhD research, during which I created a research protocol for the usability testing of systemic design projects. To validate this methodology, I conducted extensive fieldwork that included discussions and interviews with design researchers and practitioners. This validation protocol was developed with its own distinct agenda, a set of value dimensions, and a tailored research strategy incorporating a set of CSH inquiries
